Silver Bearpaw - This was the most popular Wolverton hiking trip that was commemorated with a patch. The "Silver Bearpaw" is a 62-mile hike that was initiated in 1967.  Many varieties of a round patch were issued for this trip from 1967 through 1971, and ended with the square patch design, which began its use in 1972.  All of the patches were reordered several times over the years and there are slight varieties of each of the patches as a result of that.
