The Australian contingent to the 1967 World Scout Jamboree at Farragut State Park in Idaho spent the night of August 29th at Camp Wolverton. Since all of the Wolverton campers were in the backcountry, the visitors had plenty of space to camp. Four Wolverton staffment met the visitors' busses at Ash Mountain and gave them a running commentary while driving up to camp. We fed them dinner and breakfast and provided sack lunches. We took them to the Sherman Tree and showed them the sights around Giant Forest. The next morning they travelled north and left the park on Highway 180. We discovered that although we all spoke English, communicating was a challenge. A great time was had by all.
