During the 1960's and 1970's, more members of the Wolverton Staff came from Pacific Palisades Post 90 than from any other unit. Among them were Doug Pollock, John Lynch, John Maucieri, Jim Pasternak, Ted Craver, Jon Fredland, Allen Horwitz, Gary Parker, Peter Stekel and Dave Caldwell.
In February 1969, Dr. Michael Pasternak and four members of Post 90, Albert Silverberg, Eddie Mantz, Burton Ellsworth and Rob Rittmayer, died in an accident while on a cross-country ski tour in the San Bernardino Mountains.
