On the weekend of June 13-14, 1987, nearly 75 people (past staff members, their families, and their friends) showed up to connect the existing camp water system to the newly installed water main on the Wolverton road. Not only did the group lay 200 feet of two-inch pipe, but they painted the lodge, built tent platforms, dug new latrine pits and had a great time.

The weekend was so successful that there has been a similar weekend every June since.
